Here’s a photo I grabbed of the Beacon siding in Traverse City this evening.

Looks like they didn’t take the gondola brought up last week. Currently 2 gons in the siding in at Beacon in TC

Glad they're making a trip up to TC, it's been a little while!

May be far-fetched, but I guess that opens up the possibility of somoeone else moving in and using rail service there. Too bad for those who worked there either way.

Maybe that could make it up to Traverse City!

Seems like it's been a while since the GLC made a trip up to TC. Seemed like things were getting a little busier for a while. Hopefully just a temporary slow period.

Seems like the plow may need to make an appearance? 2 feet of snow in places around TC in the past couple days.

Hopefully they ship by rail! Would be nice to see trains come into Traverse City with more than 1-2 cars.

Seems to me the engine house was torn down a lot more recently than the late 90's? I'd say its been within the last 10 years.

Just watched the GLC leave Traverse City with 25 cars. 2 Centerbeam, 1 boxcar, and 22 ballast cars I guess. Pretty neat to see!
