I'm interested. Growing up, my old man and I used to go to Ann Arbor Train & Trolley Watchers meetings. Now that my 3-year old son is head-over-heels in love with trains, It would be great to have a similar sort of group here that could meet monthly or so and where we could watch slides, videos, etc...

Wow! Awesome pictures in this thread...especially the snowplow and MA tower. I live a few blocks from Old Town and have always wondered what that structure was. Very nice to hear we're going to be getting some traffic on that old line again!

My vote is still for Trowbridge in East Lansing...as viewed from the playground in back of Spartan Village Apartments (which is real nice if you have little ones).
