After work I went to the local grocery store and there were several railroad pics on the wall; unfortunately there were no captions/info on the pics. Also, the white spot/glare on some of the pics is from lights in the store.

Got a few pics while at work doing maintenance. CCET (Cincinnati Eastern) 2803 was built 8-1983 as Alaska Railroad 2803; became USRP (US Rail Partners) 2803; CCET 330 was built 1-1970 as SP 9133'; was rebuilt & renumbered 7559. Became MRL 7559 before being renumbered MRL 330

BNSF's Aurora Sub
Started working on BNSF's Aurora Sub Monday morning. Unfortunately our shift starts at 230 am with a 6 hour window so not much chance of getting pics. While tied down in the siding at Chadwick, IL this morning around 9:15 this eastbound COFC-TOFC came through and I was able to get a pic.

Got into Savanna, IL today and had to go to the Dubuque,Iowa airport ot pickup a crew member. On the way I overtook and extremely long freight and was able to pull off and get a grab shot of the power at a crossing outside of Sabula, IA.

I hate seeing abandoned rail lines; I always think of the men that built them and wonder what steam power ran over them before diesels took over, although I enjoy first generation power.

Today was the last day working on the Beardstown Sub;Monday night we begin working on the Aurora Sub in Savanna, Il. I was able to get a couple shots today. Got these pics today. Eastbound BNSF train crossing over UP's double main at Girard, Illinois; I missed getting a pic of a westbound loaded taconite train about 30 minutes before. On the way back to Girard to tie up for the night we passed under this old abandoned bridge; I have no idea what line it...
