The 90's were getting quite a bit of age on them and likely were due for major upgrades, which gets ...

Re: INE SD70M's
I was under the impression those trucks still had a certain amount of radial movement even with the linkage removed, and even if they don't, I can't imagine them being any worse than the SD50 trucks.

NE consists of a diamond crossing of the Chicago-Bellevue line and the Detroit-Peru line with connecting lines on the north and sou...

Re: Wabash city activity question(s).

The line has traditionally been a large carrier of auto parts and finished vehicles, as there is a number of auto plants on line. It also runs through prime agricultural lands and serve of large numb...

Re: Milford Junction, underrated railfan hotspot.
Where are all of these people cutting through Milford Junction going? There isn't much of anything on old 15 worth cutting through for. I will agree that the 1350 intersection on 15 was NOT thought out very well, but I've seen other place just as bad or worse.

Re: Milford Junction, underrated railfan hotspot.
Closing BOTH east west streets in Milford Junction is REALLY a head scratcher and poorly thought out. If I lived up there, I would be throwing an absolute fit over that one.

Moving west on the CF&E, there are PRR and NKP signals at the diamond at Plymouth seen here and PRR and C&O signals at Hanna.
