3:18:40 to the turnaround point at 50.29 miles. I was just trying to get an AVG between 15.0-16.0 mph for the first long ride of the year. A majority of the trail was on crushed aggregates and was into the wind northbound. So I was quite happy with that pace. Yielded 15.2 mph for the avg on the first 50 miles.

There is a doe that has her fawn around our house every year. I live in a subdivision so there is not any forests to hide the fawn yet she manages to keep it hidden until she’s ready to take it away.

3 days no robin on the nest. abandoned as usual when they build it near the front door. doe acting strange looking like she was getting close to birthing. encouraged her to move on. don’t want to clean that up😝

Wind favors route to North so it will be Home-Lake O- Ionia State Rec Area- (Join River Valley trail/CIS trail) Saranac-Lowell-Belding and return.
