After two hours my body gets cold no matter what gear I have on
@ AARR « Thu 10:34:55 am »
I am hoping there are still a few days left that I will be able to bike outside. As long as it is dry I will bike in temperatures around 25-30 degrees for up to two hours.
@ ~Z~ « Thu 8:51:49 am »
if you don’t track your mileage, you don’t have to think you didn’t work out enough this year :)
@ Jetlink « Thu 8:49:15 am »
Looking forward to busting the bikes back out. Need 114 miles to hit 4000 for the year.
@ Jetlink « Thu 8:48:35 am »
Jetlink says since he can still see tips of The blades of grass in his yard that there wasn’t as much snow as he thought and thinks there should be school today.

48 monday - might be able to bust the bike out again guys :)
@ ~Z~ « Thu 8:43:33 am »
it be the wind Jetlink, sending the snow that far east. Fairly rare though, yes, for it to make it all the way to you. We unfortunately see more lake effect over here at my place.

Usually just small squalls that rapidly lose intensity with in a mile or two either way of us.
@ Jetlink « Thu 12:09:04 am »
We are too far inland to normally get this kind of snow off from the lake.
@ Jetlink « Thu 12:08:42 am »
Still finding it hard to beleive that this is just lake effect.

Bowling team from Lansing almost didn’t come out to Lake O today just based on the forecast. Wimps. They came anyway luckily. It started snowing about 30 minutes after their bus left Lake O to head back to Lansing. Hope they made it OK. LOL..
@ sparrow24 « Wed 9:27:23 pm »
Nothing falling here in South Lyon... I imagine we can’t stay snow-free much longer, though. I noticed some GR news stations were talking about school closings, so I imagine they’ll go down one district after another pretty quick.
@ Jetlink « Wed 9:25:42 pm »
Honestly I hope we have school. But guessing that we don’t
@ Jetlink « Wed 9:25:24 pm »
I see Saranac and Hastings have already called it.
@ Jetlink « Wed 9:25:10 pm »
If this rate of snow keeps up no way we have school tomorrow. Especially with the wind forecast.
@ Jetlink « Wed 9:24:44 pm »
Coudn’t believe how much snow accumulated during the 70 minutes of band concert.

Nope, been dealing with RSV and been coughing so much that the left side of my chest has started hurting. My girlfriend (who’s a CNA) and my doctor think it may either be a fracture or a torn muscle. They saw a partial fracture earlier this week in a xray but the pain got way worse, so the likeliness of a full fracture or torn muscle is quite likely
I’m not a doctor but I play one on Railroad fan websites, but some hydrocodone would help with both the cough and the pain. Oh, and save some for when you are feeling better.

Noticed it was cold and windy with wind from the south southwest. Usually south winds are warmer. I think we are in for a real winter this year. But usually during solar maximums we have milder winters. We are certainly at a maximum solar cycle.

first lap around the wetlands for the season was on the agenda this afternoon, only about 2.5 miles to do that lap. Boots and snowpants are helpful out there. Need to do some trimming of the trail now that the ticks are gone.

1.71 miles. Had daughter drop me off at the corner of M-66 where the church is on way home from Hastings. Walked home from there.
