After two hours my body gets cold no matter what gear I have on

I am hoping there are still a few days left that I will be able to bike outside. As long as it is dry I will bike in temperatures around 25-30 degrees for up to two hours.

Jetlink says since he can still see tips of The blades of grass in his yard that there wasn’t as much snow as he thought and thinks there should be school today.

it be the wind Jetlink, sending the snow that far east. Fairly rare though, yes, for it to make it all the way to you. We unfortunately see more lake effect over here at my place.

Usually just small squalls that rapidly lose intensity with in a mile or two either way of us.

We are too far inland to normally get this kind of snow off from the lake.

Still finding it hard to beleive that this is just lake effect.

I gave him a few extra seconds just to be sure.

Sounds Like Lakewood Public Schools just threw in the towel for tomorrow. Kids are staying home. meh

Bowling team from Lansing almost didn’t come out to Lake O today just based on the forecast. Wimps. They came anyway luckily. It started snowing about 30 minutes after their bus left Lake O to head back to Lansing. Hope they made it OK. LOL..

Nothing falling here in South Lyon... I imagine we can’t stay snow-free much longer, though. I noticed some GR news stations were talking about school closings, so I imagine they’ll go down one district after another pretty quick.

I’m not a doctor but I play one on Railroad fan websites, but some hydrocodone would help with both the cough and the pain. Oh, and save some for when you are feeling better.

Noticed it was cold and windy with wind from the south southwest. Usually south winds are warmer. I think we are in for a real winter this year. But usually during solar maximums we have milder winters. We are certainly at a maximum solar cycle.

Haven’t busted out the snow pants or boots yet. Just double layering the socks and wearing some thermals under the jeans.

first lap around the wetlands for the season was on the agenda this afternoon, only about 2.5 miles to do that lap. Boots and snowpants are helpful out there. Need to do some trimming of the trail now that the ticks are gone.

1.71 miles. Had daughter drop me off at the corner of M-66 where the church is on way home from Hastings. Walked home from there.
