CSXT 537Got a call from Nathan at 5:35 to tell me that N909 was crossing Ivanrest heading my way towards Zeeland. I had everything set to go so when I got out at 6, out the door I went, straight through the hospital parking lot to the tracks, saw this to the east, went down a block or two, and shot him coming through Zeeland. Thanks again Nathan! CSXT 537 and CSXT 577 on 05/03/06~Z~

CSX 2522Y121(Holland yard job) coming into Zeeland today...they stopped at the switch to serve the local industries..and sat.... talking with each other for a while...10 mins later, I needed to head back to work...as I was pulling into work, they finally requested to get off the main with the RN dispatcher...wonder why they took so much time to do so.... 04/28/06~Z~

D704Heard a maintainer was headed east with two pieces of MOW equipment. The dispatcher assigned them as D704....this is the symbol that used to be given to the GR to Baldwin and back... At least the symbol lasts on. 04/26/06~Z~

Chessie B&O 904015Holland yard job returning from the line that runs to Hamilton. Was eating my Long John Silvers, heard a horn once...couldn't see down the line, and a bit later, around the corner this one comes. Chessie caboose on the rear as they head into Waverly Yard. 04/28/06~Z~

CSX 7790Driving along in the fog...saw the signal at the west end of Hudsonville was lit green...i kept driving along and got into Zeeland...got stuck at a red light, and this was all I could manage. Lots of fog. This photo is a tribute to Mike T :) 04/24/06~Z~

CSX cares about it's image?Well, i guess they do, somewhat. Stopping at each milepost on the line, this maintainer throws some paint on each of the concrete mileposts. 04/20/06~Z~

CSX 2806As I'm leaving work, i start heading down Chicago Dr... heard a quick blip on the scanner, look up, and see headlights in the distance. Do a quick turn around, and get into position at 76th St. Haulin along is this little bugger... CSX 2806 and one boxcar, CSXT 179241. Nathan caught this later in St Joe.. CSX W927-18. 04/19/06~Z~

CSX 8045Around the corner up near Waverly we see D006 with it's 115 cars heading east through town. CSX 8045 and BNSF 151 do the honors. They called themselves D006 326 at one point. 04/14/06~Z~

CSX 8045While grabbing my BK, heard that D006 was nearing a signal to double up their train. Promptly headed to 120th Ave to see them sitting and sitting, blocking traffic as they doubled up. When I saw a truck drop off the conductor, and they said they were ready to pull, I pulled out of there and headed for town.

CSX 290CSX 290 brings up the rear of N905 as they head east through Zeeland. Ottawa Sub Surface continues to work drilling holes.... 04/10/06~Z~

CSX 4707CSX 4707 and CSX 290 head east through Zeeland as N905. Heard them pulling into Wyoming Yard earlier in the morning with their coal load. 04/10/06~Z~

CSX 6093Saw the gates go down at Lakewood Blvd, then at 120th Ave... Here's Y121 coming out of Waverly to get some head room so they can switch back onto a different track to head on the north leg of the wye. The conductor tried to wave traffic through but to no avail. 04/04/06~Z~

CR (CSX) 64636 Jordan SpreaderD006 procedes into Waverly. It came up from Avon a few days ago, went to GR overnight and started working the track between GR and Holland. Went up towards West Olive to do some spreader work on the ballast, then today, just south of waverly to work. CSX 2727 and the Jordan spreader with CR 64636 and CSX reporting marks seen here. 04/06/06~Z~
