CSXT 7509W33903 with CSXT 5397 and CSXT 7509 (Stealth unit) head westbound along Buchanan Ave in Grand Rapids. Tried a shot from under Franklin St, since it was morning, and I don't get out here too often that early. Note the EOT is on the front end instead of the rear. 08/05/06~Z~

CP 9607Went down to Judd after work. Saw this X500 waiting to leave Wyoming Yard. As they approached Godfrey, crew driver gave them "lots of water and ice", and as it appears here, the door open in the front and behind the engineer is a pretty clear sign of no air conditioning on this hot 90 degree day around 6pm. 08/02/06~Z~

Marquette RailDriving home on 07/28/06, saw these for the first time..pretty sure they are new. This is at Turner Ave on the north side of GR, where Marquette Rail starts it's territory. One of a kind sign I'd imagine, unless they have one in Ludington around where the car ferry brings people in.~Z~

CP 9572 on X502-03CP 9572 running east on CSX trackage, in reality south along Buchanan, pulling CP X502-03. This train hasn't seen CSX trackage since 2005... X500 normally doesn't run on Thursdays, and this train had a consist of boxcars, tankers, spine cars, and autoracks, but no intermodal. Quite the find to see this evening. 08/03/06~Z~

CP 9760CP X500 heads straight south, about to round out to head east towards Lansing. This was taken along Buchanan Ave, about the only decent spot for shots of eastbounds during the afternoon. CP 9760 & CP 9530. 07/05/06~Z~

CSXT 547CSXT 547 and CSXT 387 chug around the corner at Oakland in Grand Rapids. They later left on D802 to deliever to coal. 06/16/06. Ug, glare.....~Z~

CSXT 7593Was between Hudsonville and Jenison on my drive home. Heard something clearing west, fairly faint, but thought they said Division. Turns out they were out near Fox siding. Heard them clear Seymour, eastern, division, pleasant st, then around the corner comes Q335 with CSXT 7593, CSXT 7599, CSXT 8487, and HLCX 8161. This was taken at Oakland Ave on 06/12/06 Happy B-day Staci!~Z~

CSXT 9120 (Chessie drone)Headed along Market St near the Amtrak depot, and saw some engines sitting at the signal between Market and the bridge over the Grand River. Headed down to Oakland Ave, hoping they were just wying their power, and got a rare treat with Chessie 9120 (now just a drone unit) coming west. This was the power from Q335. This drone will be dropped off at the engine house, with now CSXT 4755 and HLCX 7202 leading for Q334. 06/11/06~Z~

CSX 5102 and CEFX 3150If you think this is Q335, you're sorta wrong...right now, it's actually Y221-31 that started out on the east side of GR to pick up this dead Q335. Taken at Oakland Ave, 05/31/06~Z~

CP 8640CP 8640 and CP 9518 on a late running CP X500 head south along Buchanan St. Heard them clearing plaster creek when i was west of the west end of the yard...got to Buchanan with little time to spare...hard to drive with no power steering :) Downtown GR seen behind.... 05/06/06~Z~
