Cavanaugh Yard - Then (1964) and Now (2007)
Pete Mayor visited the location of my 1964 image of NYC Cavanaugh Yard in Lansing. The two large poles certainly haven't moved.
Thanks to Pete for making this comparison:

'Alright Larry, you have inspired me! I went off in search of some of your photo locations. Your shot is definitely from Cavanaugh Road looking North. It's really pretty neat to stand there and compare. I made a before and after photo for you to enjoy.... you may post it on the website in your folder. '
