CW44AC #581

A pair of fine looking CW44AC's are at the headend of loaded coal train N888, with number 581 in the lead. This train is tied down at Ivanrest Road, just west of Wyoming Yard, waiting for a new crew to bring it west to the Consumers Energy plant at Port Sheldon. The eastbound signal 4.7 is visible on the other main train - rumor has it once the CSX signal replacement project which has been working east on the Grand Rapids Subdivision gets to Wyoming Yard, major changes will take place. For now, C&O colors look right at home by this C&O/PM signal. August 17, 2011.
