Green signal at McCords. Not sure why, as E848 was stopped maybe a 1/4 mile east of here, heading in the other direction.

Well of course it should be green, if the train is east of the signal. Means the block ahead is clear. This is assuming you are facing west of course, which it looks like you are from the sky.

Yeah but, why would it go green for a westbound after a train just cleared it from the east. It usually turns off. Then E848 stopped, too. Me thinks the new signals still have some bugs to be worked out.

No that is the way the new signals work, because the block behind is now clear.

No it's not. That's how intermediates are supposed to work.
