GP30 #2230
GP30 #2230 and GP9 #1602 switch covered hoppers on the Sun-Gro spur, near Quincy, MI. They setoff two cars and picked up the Burlington Northern car on the right this day. GP30 #2230 is a unique locomotive on the Indiana Northeastern; it is their only locomotive that still retains its original number. It was built in 1963 as the PRR 2230, then became the Penn Central 2230 and Conrail 2230, before it was sold to LTEX and retained the same number through the years until it arrived on the IN. December 23, 2007.
